Henry IV is over...

After a triumphant run, performing to a number of full houses and including some epic two-shows-in-a-day marathons for cast, crew and audience-members a-like, Henry IV is over. We had some lovely feedback from audiences, both in person and over email, and we hope that you enjoyed the productions as much as we did. If you have any more thoughts or suggestions, please drop us an email at info@yorkshakespeareproject.org.uk. And if you'd like to join our mailing list to be kept up to date on future YSP events, productions, auditions and anything else that may be going on, click here and fill in the form.

In the next couple of months we'll be putting the finishing touches on our plans for the next year or so, so keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, we'll keep putting any items of interest up in our Henry IV section, and we'll see you soon.

The York Shakespeare Project

... is committed to performing all of Shakespeare's known plays in York over a period of about 20 years.

In addition to staging the plays, the Project aims to provide an educational aspect to each production.

Founded as a charitable trust in 2002, we have so far produced 16 plays, including As You Like It in the shadow of York Minster in July 2008 and, since then, The Merchant of Venice, Julius Caesar and Richard II at 41 Monkgate.
